Privacy Notice

As of: 2026-08-12

1. Controller

This website is a private, non-commercial open-source project. The controller for data processing within the meaning of the GDPR is the owner of the GitHub account under which this page is published:

github.com/sebastianrenker

Please make contact via this GitHub profile (e.g. by opening an issue in one of the repositories linked there).

2. Overview: this website is deliberately data-minimizing

This website is a static information page. It sets no cookies, embeds no web fonts, scripts, typefaces, or media from third-party servers, uses no tracking and no analytics tools, contains no forms, and itself collects no personal data from you.

In particular, the fonts used are served locally from the same server (no Google Fonts CDN or similar); as a result, no data — including no IP address — is transmitted to external font providers when the page loads.

3. Hosting (GitHub Pages)

The website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. (88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), a Microsoft company.

When the page is accessed, GitHub, as the hosting provider, processes technically necessary access data in server log files. This typically includes:

This processing takes place for the technical delivery of the page and to ensure stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functional provision of the offering). The operator of this page has no influence on the concrete configuration of this server-side processing.

Since GitHub, Inc. is based in the USA, processing may take place outside the EU/EEA (a third country). Details on the data processing by GitHub, as well as on the safeguards for third-country transfers (including Standard Contractual Clauses / Data Privacy Framework), can be found in GitHub's privacy statement: GitHub General Privacy Statement.

4. External links

This website links to external sites (in particular repositories on github.com). When you click such links, you are taken to third-party offerings, for whose content and data processing the respective providers are responsible. Their privacy notices apply.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and a right to object (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, insofar as they concern the controller named above, contact the operator via the GitHub profile named under section 1.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

6. Changes

This privacy notice may be adjusted if the website or the legal framework changes. The version published here at any given time applies.
